Our childhood was the best. As the clock strikes 5.00 PM, the streets and parks were filled with children, parents, grandparents etc., former to play cricket, lock and key, shuttle, 7stones etc. and later for their respective time of social interaction. There used to be no class, no age bar. Every colony, every lane, was vibrant, colourful and filled with those wonderful and lively sounds of utmost frequency. Is Reality turning to be a myth? A recent instance in Chennai Metropolitan city, where a four-year-old LKG student was kidnapped from one of the more famous schools, Chettinad Vidyashram in R A Puram for a ransom of 10 lakh on August 8th 2013, by a stranger posing as a cab driver. There might be many reasons for this decision of hers. Maybe it was the bonding with the principal or teachers or other staff members, or May…

This poem is dedicated to each and everyone who made my school life the most memorable one Thank you everyone Oh! Those beautiful childhood days, I do miss them in many ways. Free periods in the school when we used to roam around, Cool games that we used to play in the ground. Small fights between friends that lasted for a short duration of time, Interesting classes when we were taught the nursery rhyme. Lunch breaks when we used to share our food, Punishments in class when on the bench we stood. Tours in school that we were excited about, Free periods in class when we used to shout. Rushing out of the school to catch the bus, When we used to reach home in a total mess. Street games…
